Welcome to our Guests!! My name is Jessica Skop and I am thrilled to be able to share my team and day spas with all of you! I have had the pleasure over the past several years to meet some of the most amazing people to ever come into my life because of Serendipity. I have also had the pleasure of working with some amazingly talented and inspiring individuals. I encourage you all to take some time to meet them and to share in the joy that they bring me. In all honesty, I still have days where I wake up and want to pinch myself for the amount of blessings I have received by having this company. Although we have been through several obstacles we come out each time ahead with a better understanding of life, lessons learned and a drive to push forward.

For all of my guests, please feel free to contact me with your thoughts, suggestions, stories or just a quick hello. Serendipity has come a long way and most of it is due to incredible ideas brought from you. I am always looking to better the spa for the experience of the guests. Welcome to Serendipity Day Spa!!!!

Julie Emington joined our team in August of  2010 as our Front Desk Coordinator.  She was the team member we were searching over and over for.  Our vision was to find someone that was Guest Focused, was a multi-tasker, could handle heavy volume with ease, held cleanliness in high regard and could portray an overall operations of Serendipity.  Not only did Julie accomplish this, but her drive, dedication and uniqueness to see opportunity quickly gained the approval and praise of the management team. When the position of Spa Director opened up, there was no doubt that Julie was the perfect person for that position.  Julie began her management role in the beginning of September 2011 and has soared thus far.  She portrays a commitment to CANI (Constant And Never-ending Improvement) and works closely with the owner to always improve our spa for our guests.  Please take a moment to meet this incredible woman.  She will warm your heart the minute you meet her.

Chrissy joined our team in 2005 as an assistant to the owner and quickly climbed the company ladder to become the first Manager of Serendipity Day Spa.  She has helped to build Serendipity and has excelled in training and service.  She has also pursued a nail technician license through the spa and became one of our own  apprenticeship graduates.  Since becoming a mommy, Chrissy has decided to continue doing what she loves-servicing our guests.  She took on a new position in July of 2011 and is now a full time Nail Technician and Team Trainer.  We are thrilled to have her lead our team to higher guest success and encourage you to experience a pedicure with her.  (Her favorite is the Deluxe Pedicure!)

My name is Sarah Peterson due to my marriage on May 1, 2009. My husband’s name is James. We've been together now for since the spring of 2005 and I couldn’t be happier marrying my best friend. I have one son named Jahvon who is light of my life! I have been doing nails since 2003. I enjoy it so much. It's not like a job but more like a fun day with friends. I have been with Serendipity Day Spa since day one back in September of 2004. It is a fabulous place to work and like an extended family! I specialize in pedicures, acrylics and manicures. Looking forward to meeting all of you!

Hello! My name is Jennifer Laga and I am a Nail Technician here at Serendipity. I came here in the Spring of 2007 and absolutely love working at the Day Spa! I love to treat our guests with the best pedicures in the area and they are my favorite service to give. I have a very wonderful and supportive husband named Bill and two great girls, Emily and Ashley! I love to laugh a lot and have fun with our guests, so I hope you can come and see us here at Serendipity and have a great time while being pampered! My name is Megan Starrs-Hogan and in 2003 I graduated from Linden High School. After high school I then attended Mott Community College where I received my associate’s degree in Criminal Justice. After I realized I did not want to pursue a career in criminal justice I decided to go back and get my license to practice esthetics. I graduated in 2007 with a 4.0 gpa, which I was very proud of. After getting state licensed I joined the team at Serendipity. I have also taken part in the apprenticeship program at Serendipity Day Spa and am a licensed nail technician.

My name is Stacy Caverly. I have always had a passion for the hands, toes, skin care and spa. A career in nails and esthetics matched my interest and gifts. I have been a nail technician for 8 years now. My services include manicures, pedicures along with acrylic nails, and skin care. I am committed to giving my best to every guest’s personal needs. I have been with Serendipity Day Spa since the summer of 2008, and I am personally inviting you to come and see for yourself our wonderful team at Serendipity Day Spa.

Hi everyone, I'm Jordan. I have been doing hair for 6 years and absolutely love it. I graduated from Linden High School in 2005, where I also attended skills center cosmetology program my senior year. From there I went on to Sharp’s academy of cosmetology, where I received my diploma. I am now at Serendipity where I continue to progress and grow with my clientele as well as furthering my education with hair. I specialize in hair cutting, color, facials, and make-up. I also specialize in formal styling for special occasions and bridal parties. I thoroughly enjoy working at Serendipity and I look forward to seeing you. 

Hi there! My name is Kali and I joined the SDS team in the spring of 2009 to be able to utilize my entire license in the hair and spa industry.  My passion does lie with hair, but I also want to be able to service my guests with multiple pampering services.  My ideal time with you would be to start you off with a social yet soothing pedicure and then on to a gorgeous hair color and design.  Please feel free to call and schedule a day with me and let me take all your worries away!

Hi Everyone! My name is Sarah. I am a front desk receptionist here at the Linden Spa and absolutely LOVE IT! I became a part of the Serendipity team January of this year, and truly enjoy being here! This is my second family to the family Ihave at home, which includes my husband Jared of 4 years, my oldest daughter Kailey, and my youngest daughter Jaclynn. When I’m not here at the spa or at home with my family, I am at school working towards my dream job of becoming a paramedic sheriff. I will receive my Associates degree in criminal justice in June of this year. I have always enjoyed working and meeting new people, and ultimately helping people in any way that I can.  It is my pleasure to help you make your pampering appointments and to assist you in your relaxing retreat.

Monica was recently voted a 12 on a scale from 1 to 10 for relaxation massage. Her gentle yet firm touch allows all of her guests to receive the benefits of a massage while also making them feel comfortable. She is one of the reasons that Serendipity was voted Mid-Michigan’s Best Massage for 2009. Monica also has joined our Nail Technician Apprenticeship program and will soon be offering nail services to her guests!!

Charity is a cosmetologist who has had her cosmetology license for four years.  Her favorite services include full hair transformations, highlights, fun sassy cuts, and deluxe pedicures.  In her time off she likes running and getting lost in a good book.  She enjoys traveling, whether far plane rides, or short road trips!  During work or in her spare time she is always ready for fun and adventure; looking to enjoy the moments of life with those around her!

Hey everyone! My name is Tina Stoick. I graduated from Transitions School of Cosmetology with a 4.0, and started here at Serendipity in August 2011. I love playing volleyball and watching college football - I am a diehard Michigan State fan - Go Green! My passion is skin care. I enjoy helping women feel and look beautiful! My favorite services are facials, body treatments, and waxing. I am also in the Nail Tech Apprenticeship. I can't wait to meet you, and begin your day of pampering from head to toe!

Hi, my name is Brigette Baker.  I graduated from Swartz Creek High School in 2009, and went to Mott Transitions for my Cosmetology License.  I started at Serenidpity Day Spa in Frankenmuth in  October 2010 then transferred to the Linden Team.  My biggest priority is satisfying my clients.  There is nothing better than knowing that they are happy when they leave.  I love every bit of my  job espceially doing the variety of services that I can provide.  My favorite thing is having a client all day, beginning with a Dermalogica facial, a relaxing pedicure, a fresh manicure and finsihing it  off with the new cut/color/style they have always wanted.  Call in today to book your spa day with me.  Also, come see me in Frankenmuth every other Sunday!
